Holiday Photoshoot with The Sisterhood

Working with new studios and creative spaces is always a learning experience, and I believe in sharing both the highlights and the realities, especially for other models and creators navigating similar spaces.

The Sisterhood in Clearfield, Utah is a beautiful studio. The space itself is aesthetically pleasing, well-lit, and visually inspiring. From a content standpoint, the images turned out lovely and I’m grateful for the opportunity to create in such a visually appealing environment.

However, the overall experience didn’t fully align with what I value in a creative collaboration.

Throughout the shoot, I didn’t feel particularly welcomed or supported in the space. At one point, I made a simple request for a specific photo that was important to me for my brand. The response felt dismissive, there was a sigh, and I was made to feel as though I was being an inconvenience rather than a collaborator.

As both a model and a social media professional, I strongly believe that creative environments should feel safe, respectful, and collaborative. Communication and energy matter just as much as aesthetics, and they directly impact the experience and the final product.

Would I work with The Sisterhood again?

While I appreciate the beautiful images that came from the shoot, I personally would not choose to work with The Sisterhood again. For me, feeling welcomed, heard, and valued is essential in any professional setting, and that’s something I prioritize moving forward.

This post isn’t meant to discourage others, but rather to share my honest experience so fellow creators can make informed decisions about the spaces they choose to work in.
